August In Books

The end of another month heralds the beginning of what I hope will become a regular fixture in my life.  August saw me slowly become more engrossed in the world of books; a world in which I have always had my feet firmly planted, to be sure, but into which I now find myself falling head first.  Of an evening you can now find me trawling the internet for obscure book recommendations, happily clicking through video after video on ‘Booktuber’ channels, or wracking my brain as I try to remember the name of a book long forgotten.  Working full time means that I don’t have as much time to read as I might like, but, and without further ado, here is a summary of what I read in August.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, JRR Tolkien (1954)
Kane & Abel, Jeffrey Archer (1979)
The Hard Way, Lee Child (2009)

TOTAL PAGES READ:  448 + 512 + 384 = 1344

I would love to find out what you’ve been reading this month, and please let me know if you would like an in depth review of any of the books featured in this post.
